Hi, my name is Craig. I’m an IMDT qualified dog trainer.
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up with five German Shepherds in the family home. I learnt to look after them from my Father and Grandfather. I’ve always had a passion for the big breeds and that continues to this day, being the proud owner of two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. who form part of the family pack along with a Labrador, English Bulldog and a Pug. Puppy Home Visits

Puppies are like our children and are sponges in the early stages but is also a time when a lot of problems can occur that can also effect the dogs behaviour later in life, visits can start before the puppy has arrived, I can make sure that the breed is right for you and is a good match for your family and lifestyle, I can advise you of what to expect in the early days and how to prepare for the little ones arrival.

K9 Bootcamps
​
Over the past three years I have successfully partnered up with Paws & Explore to run a number of bootcamps throughout South Wales as KBC - K9 Bootcamps, these have proved to be very popular and are always in high demand.
​
The bootcamps are normally two hours of intense training with no more than ten participants and two to three instructors, these are some of the bootcamps on offer with more being planned in the new year.

Behaviour Consultation

Do you have behavioural issues with your dog? Then contact me today and we can start the process of getting you four legged friend on the right path, we will start with building a case history by way of a questionnaire, I will follow with a telephone call and will arrange to meet you at home or wherever the unwanted behaviour occurs to access your dog and the cause of the problem before determining the appropriate training and rehabilitation required.
Post visit you will receive a detailed report along with phone and email report for up to four weeks after the initial consultation.

Hi, my name is Craig. I’m an IMDT qualified dog trainer.
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up with five German Shepherds in the family home. I learnt to look after them from my Father and Grandfather. I’ve always had a passion for the big breeds and that continues to this day, being the proud owner of two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. who form part of the family pack along with a Labrador, English Bulldog and a Pug.

I spent a large part of my adult life working abroad and, although there were always my own dogs there when i got back, dogs just found there way into my life.
Being ex-military, I spent several years in Afghanistan where my colleagues would get fed up with me talking about dogs, as I was already training dogs in my down time when home on leave as well as running all the dog teams in country, I finally made the break away from there in 2018 to work full time with dogs, after backing up my knowledge with a number of qualifications from different providers but mainly the IMDT who I remain a member of still today.
I now run Dawg’z Life in South Wales and have worked with everything from explosive and protection dogs to therapy and assistance dogs, I still have a passion for the big breeds, but nothing gives me more pleasure than working with dogs that are there to help and bring a joy to others
My training methods are effective and non-aversive. I use positive rewards based training and can assist you with puppy problems, training and behavioural issues
